Sunday School meets each Sunday from Labor Day
through the last Sunday in May at 9:00a.m. There are classes for all God's children from nursery through adult.
Bible Studies are available days and evenings, on various books of the Bible. We have Women’s, Men’s, Seniors’
and Youth Bible Study groups that meet at Church at least monthly. The monthly calendar provides dates and times.
A pre-confirmation program of instruction for fifth and sixth graders provides
an overview of salvation history from the creation to the final day. The
emphasis is on seeing how God was at work through the centuries speaking to his
people in many and various ways, always preparing to fulfill his promises
through his Son Jesus, the promised Messiah, and then through apostles and
evangelists making the Gospel known to the ends of the earth. This class is
taught weekly from September through Pentecost.
Our seventh and eighth grade
students join pastor for confirmation instruction. Through study of the
Holy Scriptures and Dr. Luther’s Small Catechism young people are instructed in the fundamental
doctrines of Christianity. The aim of the course is to prepare the students for a lifetime of
receiving God’s grace through word and sacrament that they might grow in faith and be preserved
as God’s dear children until he calls them home. This class is taught from September through Pentecost.
An Adult Information Class is offered by pastor for those who wish to learn or review the basic
teachings of Scripture as they are understood by the Evangelical Lutheran Church. This class
serves as preparation for membership for adults who wish to join the congregation.
Please contact pastor for more information.
